Our History

Dilly Daydream was started by Alison Naylor in 2007 when she couldn’t find a pretty, good quality shower cap as a gift for her grandmother. Those that were available were tight fitting, mass produced, cheap plastic gimmicky imports. As a result, she ended up having a go at making her own, and with that Dilly Daydream was born.  Dilly Daydream was Alison's nickname as a child - take from that what you will!

The range has now expanded from shower caps, to shower turbans, drying turbans, sleep masks, sponge bags, bath pillows, candles…….  Every new product is designed with the ethos of putting a little bit of glamour and luxury into something practical. 

Our Products

We are proud to say all our products, with the exception of our bath pillow inners, are made in the UK. By doing so, we are not only supporting small British businesses, but are maintaining quality and keeping our carbon footprint down. The waterproof lining used in our shower caps, turbans and bags is recyclable.

We supply to hotels and spas who are looking to become more sustainable and many are replacing their single-use plastic disposable shower caps with ones that are bespoke, unisex and washable.
