Refund policy

If for any reason you wish to return your order, for an exchange or refund (excluding P&P), you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. You will need to return the item at your own expense, securely packaged and in mint condition.

Cancellation

You may for a short period be able to cancel an order placed; please use the Contact Us page to cancel your order.  However, if you have already received an email confirming dispatch of your order then you will have to return the unwanted items at your expense.   

If you believe your goods are faulty, please return them so that we can inspect them and contact you to discuss an appropriate resolution.  If the product is found to be faulty, we will contact you within 48 hours of receiving your return (excluding weekends, public holidays and bank holidays) and then process your request for a refund or replacement.

The Dilly Daydream Story

Dilly Daydream—Alison's childhood nickname (make of that what you will!)—began in 2007 with a simple search for a gift.

Unable to find a pretty, well-made shower cap for her grandmother, Alison was disappointed by the choices on offer. Most were tight-fitting, mass-produced plastic imports that lacked both quality and charm.

Convinced there had to be a better alternative, she decided to make one herself. What started as a daydream quickly became a reality, and Dilly Daydream was born.

Today, we continue to make beautiful, practical bathroom accessories from our UK workshop, including shower caps, shower turbans, drying turbans, swim turbans, sponge bags, bath pillows and hairbands. Every item is made with the same philosophy that inspired the very first shower cap: everyday essentials should be functional, comfortable, long-lasting and a pleasure to use.

Our shower caps are machine washable and designed to stand the test of time. We even offer a Shower Cap MOT service to refresh well-loved favourites, helping them look their best for years to come. We also create bespoke shower caps for customers looking for something truly personal.
