Product Specification

Made from a printed lycra fabric this shower hat is lined with a robust pvc lining making it totally waterproof, easy to slip on and off, and comfortable to wear.

Size Guide

If the circumference of your head measures 56cms or above we recommend trying a standard size hat, particularly if you have medium length hair.

If your head measures less than 56cms in circumference, you have short hair and the crown of your head measurement (from ear to ear) is 40cms or less, we recommend a petite size hat.

Nice and elegant shower cap

Turns out I shared exactly the same motivation as the founder of the business! Looking for a decent, nice and elegant shower cap for my mother! I like the turban style, and the lining inside. What is much more important is that my mum is delighted too, who couldn't find anything like this in another country, so turned to me to find something in England!

Really nice looking and well made shower cap. Giving four stars as it’s not tight enough around my head and tends to fall off. Not sure how to rectify this but like it all the same🩷

Great protection

I invested in a drench shower but don’t want to get my hair wet every day. Wore my shower turban under the shower head and my hair stayed dry.

Still a bit big

I bought this in petite but unfortunately it’s still a bit big, and doesn’t hold my hair in tightly. Pretty design, well made and nice fabric but could have done with being a couple of centimetres smaller so it’s snug rather than comfortable fit where hair escapes

Dilly Daydream—Alison's childhood nickname (make of that what you will!)—began in 2007 with a simple search for a gift.

Unable to find a pretty, well-made shower cap for her grandmother, Alison was disappointed by the choices on offer. Most were tight-fitting, mass-produced plastic imports that lacked both quality and charm.

Convinced there had to be a better alternative, she decided to make one herself. What started as a daydream quickly became a reality, and Dilly Daydream was born.

Today, we continue to make beautiful, practical bathroom accessories from our UK workshop, including shower caps, shower turbans, drying turbans, swim turbans, sponge bags, bath pillows and hairbands. Every item is made with the same philosophy that inspired the very first shower cap: everyday essentials should be functional, comfortable, long-lasting and a pleasure to use.

Our shower caps are machine washable and designed to stand the test of time. We even offer a Shower Cap MOT service to refresh well-loved favourites, helping them look their best for years to come. We also create bespoke shower caps for customers looking for something truly personal.
