This British made drying turban is lined with an absorbent and lightweight microfibre towelling fabric.

Size Guide

All our drying turbans are made to one size and will fit most heads due to their stretch.

If you have extra long hair we would recommend you choose a large turban.

If you are unsure and wish to try for size we are happy to exchange or refund as long as the hat has not been used.

Machine washable at 30° and a cool tumble dry will help keep your turban feeling fresh and extend its life.

Exactly what I wanted

Wanted a plain white turban - this one from Dilly DayDream fits the bill perfectly. Beautifully made, towelling lining and silky outside. Super pleased.

Very pleased

Bought this in the larger size for my daughter-in-law who has thick hair that is long (half way down her back). It easily fits all of the hair in and helps to remove some of the water from it. She obviously squeezes excess water from her hair before putting the turban on and it does not dry it completely but it stops the hair dripping all down her back. After use it dries quickly ready for the next day. I wish the large size came in some of the other more exciting colours as I think they would suit her personality and style more.

Very useful

This purchase is for a friend's birthday and has not yet been posted! I already own a Drying Turban. I should have had this years ago instead of using a towel which slips off. The Drying Turban stays on, looks fetching, and drys one's hair until one is ready to attend to it. I chose white on both occasions in order to fit in with any colour scheme. It feels and looks luxurious and is easily washed. I am a Dilly Daydream fan.

Poor quality

The quality of materials is REALLY poor for the price.
It looks and feels like a cheap import rather than a domestically produced product.
I am really disappointed.

Look nice

Both turbans have been bought as presents so I haven't actually tried them. They look very nice, at least the open one does and I assume the other is the same. I'm a little disappointed that one came nicely wrapped up in tissue paper, sealed and had a dilly daydream card attached, while the other just had a loose bit of tissue round it - it looked as though it had already been opened. Could that have happened in the post? Wouldn't mind if it had been for myself, but it's nice if presents are well wrapped.

Dilly Daydream—Alison's childhood nickname (make of that what you will!)—began in 2007 with a simple search for a gift.

Unable to find a pretty, well-made shower cap for her grandmother, Alison was disappointed by the choices on offer. Most were tight-fitting, mass-produced plastic imports that lacked both quality and charm.

Convinced there had to be a better alternative, she decided to make one herself. What started as a daydream quickly became a reality, and Dilly Daydream was born.

Today, we continue to make beautiful, practical bathroom accessories from our UK workshop, including shower caps, shower turbans, drying turbans, swim turbans, sponge bags, bath pillows and hairbands. Every item is made with the same philosophy that inspired the very first shower cap: everyday essentials should be functional, comfortable, long-lasting and a pleasure to use.
